Walking
From the main plaza in Taxco (Plaza Borda), head southeast on Calle de la Plata. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Cuauhtémoc. Turn left onto Calle Cuauhtémoc and continue walking until you see the bus terminal on your right. At the terminal, look for a bus or colectivo heading to Malinalco. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 40 minutes. After arriving in Malinalco, ask the driver to drop you off near the Zona Arqueológica de Malinalco. From the drop-off point, it will be a short 10-minute walk uphill to the archaeological site.

Start at Plaza Borda in Taxco, then walk to the nearby bus terminal. Look for a bus that is heading to Malinalco; these usually leave frequently. The ride takes around 40 minutes. Once you arrive in Malinalco, you will be dropped off near the center of town. From there, you can either walk or take a local taxi to the archaeological site. If walking, head east towards the main road, then follow the signs that direct you to Zona Arqueológica de Malinalco, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the town center.
