If you are starting from the central area of Taxco, make your way to the main square, Plaza Borda. From Plaza Borda, walk down Calle de la Virgen. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Francisco Villa. Turn left onto Calle Francisco Villa and keep walking until you see the vibrant shops and restaurants. After a few minutes, you will reach Plazuela de San Nicolás, which is a beautiful small square surrounded by local architecture.

If you are near the Santa Prisca Church, exit the church and head south towards the main square. Walk down Calle de la Virgen, then take a right onto Calle de los Plateros. Continue straight for about 5 minutes; you will pass several artisan shops. At the end of the street, turn left onto Calle de la Luz, and shortly you will arrive at Plazuela de San Nicolás.

From the Taxco bus station (Terminal de Autobuses), exit the station and head east on Calle de las Palomas. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Calle Cuauhtémoc. Turn right onto Calle Cuauhtémoc and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass various shops and cafes. Just before you reach the main square, turn left onto Calle de la Luz, and you will find yourself at Plazuela de San Nicolás.
