Travel Guide to Embarcadero Park Pier

Getting There

• Bus

  From the Tijuana central bus terminal (Central de Autobuses de Tijuana), take the bus that heads towards the border. Look for buses going to San Ysidro. The fare is inexpensive, and buses run frequently. Once you arrive at the San Ysidro border crossing, follow the signs to the pedestrian crossing. After passing through immigration, you will enter San Diego, California.

• Walking

  After crossing the border into San Diego on foot, you will find yourself on the San Ysidro Boulevard. Head north until you reach the intersection with W San Ysidro Blvd. Turn left. Continue walking until you reach the Trolley station (San Ysidro Trolley Station) on your right. Take the Blue Line Trolley towards 'Old Town' or 'Downtown San Diego'.

• Trolley

  Stay on the Blue Line Trolley for about 25 minutes. You will pass several stops, but keep an eye out for the 'Convention Center' stop. Once you arrive at 'Convention Center', get off the trolley. From the trolley stop, walk towards the waterfront; you will see signs directing you to the Embarcadero Park Pier.

• Walking

  Once you exit the Convention Center trolley station, head south towards the harbor. You will pass by the San Diego Convention Center. Continue walking along the waterfront promenade until you reach Embarcadero Park Pier. The pier is located at South Embarcadero, which is a scenic area perfect for a stroll or to enjoy views of the bay.
