Getting There

• Public Transportation

  If you're in the downtown area of Tijuana, head to the Tijuana bus terminal located at Avenida Revolución and Calle 6. From there, take a cross-border bus to San Diego. The bus will take you to the San Ysidro border crossing. After crossing into the United States, follow the signs to the Trolley station. Take the Blue Line Trolley towards 'San Ysidro' and get off at 'Old Town' station. From Old Town, transfer to the 8 bus towards 'Pacific Beach' and get off at 'Shelter Island Dr.' Stop. From there, it’s a short walk to 2720 Shelter Island Dr, where Sail San Diego is located.

• Walking

  If you're staying near the Tijuana border and prefer walking, start by heading towards the San Ysidro border crossing. After crossing into the U.S., walk to the Trolley station at the border. Take the Blue Line Trolley towards 'San Diego' and get off at 'Old Town' station. After exiting the trolley, walk to the bus stop and take the 8 bus towards 'Pacific Beach.' Get off at 'Shelter Island Dr.' Stop. You will find Sail San Diego at 2720 Shelter Island Dr, just a few minutes’ walk from the bus stop.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  If you prefer a more direct route, use a taxi or rideshare service like Uber from your location in Tijuana to the San Ysidro border crossing. Once you cross into the United States, request another taxi or rideshare to take you directly to Sail San Diego at 2720 Shelter Island Dr. This option may be more expensive but is much quicker and convenient.
