Bicycle
If you're staying in Tulum, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in the town. Once you have your bike, head towards Avenida Tulum and follow it north until you reach the intersection with Carretera 307. Turn right onto Carretera 307 and continue cycling for about 20-25 minutes. You will see signs directing you toward Akumal. The Centro Ecológico Akumal is located on Carretera Puerto Juarez ~ Tulum, Km. 104, right off the main road.

Collectivo (Shared Van)
To get to Centro Ecológico Akumal by collectivo, head to the collectivo station located on Avenida Tulum, near the main bus station. Look for a collectivo heading towards Akumal. The fare is typically around 30-50 pesos. Once you get on, let the driver know you want to get off at Km. 104. The collectivo will drop you off close to the entrance of Centro Ecológico Akumal which is located along the Carretera Puerto Juarez ~ Tulum.
