Getting There

  • Bicycle

    From the center of Tulum, head south on Avenida Tulum. Continue straight until you reach the Tulum Ruins. At the intersection with Carretera Tulum-Boca Paila, turn left and follow the road for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for signs for Reserva de la Biósfera Sian Ka'an. The entrance will be on your right.

  • Taxi

    You can easily find a taxi in central Tulum. Tell the driver to take you to Reserva de la Biósfera Sian Ka'an. The trip will take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the price before getting in.

  • Collectivo

    Head to the main collectivo station located on Avenida Tulum near the ADO bus terminal. Look for a collectivo heading towards Boca Paila or Punta Allen. Inform the driver you want to visit Reserva de la Biósfera Sian Ka'an. The ride will take around 30 minutes. You may need to walk a bit from where the collectivo stops to the entrance of the reserve.
