Bicycle
From Tulum town center, head east on Avenida Tulum towards the beach. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenida Coba. Turn right onto Avenida Coba and follow the road until you see the signs for Xpu Há. The total distance is approximately 14 km. It may take around 45 minutes to an hour, so ensure you have plenty of water and sunscreen.
Collective Taxi (Colectivo)
From Tulum town, walk to the main colectivo station located on Calle Osasco, just off Avenida Tulum. Look for the colectivos heading towards Playa del Carmen. Tell the driver you want to get off at Xpu Há; the fare is around 50 pesos. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you've arrived, follow the signs to the entrance of Xpu Há.
Walking
If you are in a nearby area such as Akumal, you can walk to Xpu Há by following the coastline. Head south from Akumal beach, following the path that leads along the beach. Be cautious of the sun and bring water, as it may take over an hour depending on your pace.
