If you're traveling by car, start from Mexico City. Take the Mexico-Pachuca Highway (Mexico 85D) towards Pachuca. After about 50 km, take the exit towards Tepeji del Río. Follow the signs to Tepeji del Río, and continue on this road for approximately 15 km. Once you reach Tepeji del Río, follow the local signs to the Father Tembleque Aqueduct, which is located at 55978 Hidalgo. There is a parking area nearby where you can leave your vehicle, but be aware that parking may have a small fee.

Public Transportation
To reach the Father Tembleque Aqueduct using public transportation, start by taking the Metro Line 1 (Pink Line) from any central Mexico City station and head to Pantitlán. From Pantitlán, transfer to Line 5 (Yellow Line) towards Pantitlán. When you arrive at the Pantitlán station, look for the buses labeled 'Tepeji del Río' or 'Hidalgo.' Board one of these buses, which typically leaves from the bus terminal adjacent to the metro station. The bus ride will take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Request the driver to drop you off at Tepeji del Río, and from there, you can either walk or take a local taxi for the remaining 15 km to the aqueduct. Ensure you have small change for bus fares, which can range from 30 to 50 pesos.
