Car
From any location in Western Mexico, head towards the nearest major highway leading north towards the U.S. border. If you are in cities like Guadalajara or Tepic, take Highway 15D north. Continue on the highway until you reach the city of Hermosillo, then take Highway 10 east to reach the Texas border. After crossing the border into Texas, follow US-90 west towards Sonora, TX. When you reach Sonora, take Private Road 4468 to the Caverns of Sonora, located at 1711 Private Rd 4468, Sonora, TX 76950.
Public Transportation
If traveling by bus, you can take a bus from major cities in Western Mexico to the city of Eagle Pass, TX. Bus services are available through companies like ADO or Primera Plus. Once you arrive in Eagle Pass, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service to reach the Caverns of Sonora. The address is 1711 Private Rd 4468, Sonora, TX 76950. Note that you may need to confirm the availability of taxis in advance.
Combination (Car & Taxi)
For those without a car, consider taking a bus to Del Rio, TX from major cities in Western Mexico. From Del Rio, you can rent a car or take a taxi for the remaining 60 miles to the Caverns of Sonora. Ensure you have a valid U.S. visa to cross the border, and check for any rental car requirements if choosing to drive.
