If you are driving from Mérida, head east on the highway towards Tizimin (Mex 180). After approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, you will see signs for Chichén Itzá. Turn right onto the road that leads to the archaeological site. The entrance is about 5 kilometers down this road. Expect to pay a parking fee of around 30 MXN. The site is open daily from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
