Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Mérida, the capital of Yucatán. Take the Calle 60 heading east towards the Carretera 180. Continue on Carretera 180 for about 30 km until you reach the town of Motul. From Motul, take the exit onto the Carretera 172 towards Calcehtok. Continue straight for approximately 15 km. As you approach Calcehtok, look for signs directing you to Grutas Calcehtok. The caves will be on your right side as you enter the town. There is usually a small parking area near the entrance. Please note that there may be a small fee for parking.

Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, head to the main bus terminal in Mérida. Look for buses heading towards Motul. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once in Motul, you will need to take a taxi or a local colectivo (shared van) to Calcehtok, which is about a 15 km ride. Colectivos are often the more economical choice, and you can expect to pay around 30-50 MXN per person. Ask the driver to drop you off at Grutas Calcehtok. Ensure to confirm the return arrangements with the driver or taxi service, as public transport back may not be as frequent.
