As you approach Calcehtok, look for signs directing you to Grutas Calcehtok. The caves will be on your right side as you enter the town. There is usually a small parking area near the entrance. Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, head to the main bus terminal in Mérida. Look for buses heading towards Motul. The journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once in Motul, you will need to take a taxi or a local colectivo (shared van) to Calcehtok, which is about a 15 km ride. Colectivos are often the more economical choice, and you can expect to pay around 30-50 MXN per person. Ask the driver to drop you off at Grutas Calcehtok. Ensure to confirm the return arrangements with the driver or taxi service, as public transport back may not be as frequent.
