To reach the Bay City State Park Campground, start by locating the nearest public bus stop. If you're in downtown Bay City, head to the nearest stop on Center Avenue. Take the Bay Metro Transit Bus Route 1 towards MBS International Airport. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. Get off at the Bay City State Park stop. From there, walk north along the marked path for about 5 minutes until you reach the Campground entrance.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Bay City. Start from the downtown area and head east on the Chippewa Nature Center Trail. Follow the trail for approximately 3 miles, enjoying the scenic views. When you reach the intersection with the Saginaw River, turn right and continue to follow the signs for Bay City State Park. The campground entrance will be on your left after another mile.

If you are close to the downtown area, you can walk to the Bay City State Park Campground. From the Bay City Riverwalk, head north on the Riverwalk until you reach the intersection with Park Drive. Turn left on Park Drive and continue walking for about 1.5 miles. You'll see signs directing you to the Bay City State Park Campground. The entrance will be on your right.
