If you are starting from downtown Bay City, head east on Center Avenue. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with S. Euclid Avenue. Turn left onto S. Euclid Avenue and continue for another half mile. Once you reach the intersection with Killarney Beach Road, turn right. Tobico Marsh Nature Area will be on your left after about a mile. The total distance is approximately 2.5 miles and will take around 50 minutes to walk.

For those who prefer to bike, start from the Bay City State Recreation Area, which is near the downtown area. Use the bike path heading east towards S. Euclid Avenue.
