Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from downtown Charlevoix, head east on E. Main Street for about 0.5 miles. Turn left onto US-31 N and continue for approximately 1 mile. Take a right onto Mt. McSauba Road. Continue straight on Mt. McSauba Road for about 1 mile. The North Point Nature Preserve will be on your left, and there is a small parking area available.

• Public Transportation

  Currently, there is no direct public transportation service to North Point Nature Preserve from downtown Charlevoix. You can take a local taxi or ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft. If you choose a taxi, you will need to provide the driver with the address: Mt McSauba Rd, Charlevoix, MI 49720. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic.   Walking to North Point Nature Preserve is feasible if you enjoy a longer trek. From downtown Charlevoix, head east on E. Main Street and turn left onto US-31 N. Continue walking for about 1 mile before turning right onto Mt. McSauba Road. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace.
