Public Transit
To get to Maybury State Park from downtown Detroit, start by heading to the Detroit People Mover station at Greektown. Take the People Mover to the 'Cobo Hall' station and transfer to the QLine Streetcar. Ride the QLine to the 'Mack' stop. From there, you’ll need to walk to the bus stop on Mack Avenue. Catch the SMART Bus Route 470 (Northville) which will take you towards Northville. Get off the bus at the 'Eight Mile & Haggerty' stop. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk west on Eight Mile Road to reach the park entrance at 49601 Eight Mile W.

Walking/Biking
If you prefer to bike or walk, you can start at the Detroit Riverwalk. Follow the river to the west until you reach the intersection with Woodward Avenue. Head north on Woodward Avenue until you reach Eight Mile Road. From there, turn right (east) and continue along Eight Mile Road for several miles until you reach Maybury State Park on your right at 49601 Eight Mile W. This route is approximately 15 miles and may take over an hour to walk, but it’s a scenic route along the river.
