From the center of Frankenmuth, head south on Main Street towards the intersection with Weiss Street. At the intersection, turn left onto Weiss Street and continue for about 1 mile. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. As you reach the end of Weiss Street, it will turn into Bay City Road. Continue straight for another 2 miles until you reach the intersection with the Bay City State Park entrance. Tobico Marsh Big Loop Trail Head is just beyond the entrance, where you can find parking and access to the trail.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Frankenmuth River Place Shops. Head south along the paved bike path that runs parallel to the Cass River. Follow the path until you reach the intersection with Weiss Street. Continue onto Weiss Street, which will turn into Bay City Road. Stay on Bay City Road for about 2 miles, and you will see the signs for Tobico Marsh Big Loop Trail Head as you approach Bay City State Park.
Public Transportation
Unfortunately, there is limited public transportation directly to Tobico Marsh Big Loop Trail Head from Frankenmuth. However, you can take a bus to Bay City.
