    From downtown Grand Rapids, you can catch the Rapid Bus Route 1 at the Grand Rapids Transit Center. Board the bus heading towards the Wyoming area. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes, and get off at the stop at 28th Street and Porter Street. From there, walk west on Porter Street for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach Lamar Park at 2561 Porter St SW. The park has signs directing you to the entrance, making it easy to find.

    If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in downtown Grand Rapids. Head south on the Fred Meijer Grand River Valley Rail Trail, which connects to the Wyoming area. Continue on the trail until you reach the intersection with Porter Street. Turn left on Porter Street and ride for about 1 mile. Lamar Park will be on your right at 2561 Porter St SW.
