From East Hills, head to the nearest bus stop on Wealthy St SE and catch the Grand Rapids Transit (GR Transit) Route 5 bus heading west. The bus will take you toward the downtown area. Stay on the bus for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the stop at 36th St SW and Wilson Ave SW. From there, you will need to transfer to Route 7, which heads north. Board the Route 7 bus and stay on for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the stop near the entrance to Millennium Park at 1415 Maynard Ave SW. The total bus fare is $1.75 for a single ride, and be sure to check the bus schedule for the latest times.
Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental services in East Hills. Start by heading west on Wealthy St SE until you reach the bike path on the Grand River. Follow the path north along the river until you reach 36th St SW. At this point, turn left and continue west until you reach Maynard Ave SW. Turn right onto Maynard Ave SW, and Millennium Park will be on your left. The ride should take around 30-40 minutes, depending on your pace. Remember to wear a helmet and follow all traffic rules.
Walking

For those who enjoy a longer walk, you can walk from East Hills to Millennium Park. Start by heading west on Wealthy St SE until you reach the intersection with Division Ave S. Continue walking along Wealthy St SE until you reach 36th St SW. Turn left on 36th St SW and walk until you reach Maynard Ave SW. Finally, turn right on Maynard Ave SW, and you will see Millennium Park on your left. This walk will take you approximately 1 hour and covers about 3 miles. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated!
