Walking
If you are in East Hills, start by heading west on Wealthy Street SE. Continue until you reach the intersection with Eastern Avenue SE. Turn left onto Eastern Avenue SE and follow it north until it intersects with Franklin Street SE. Turn right onto Franklin Street SE and then take the first left onto Hillburn Avenue NW. Continue walking straight down Hillburn Avenue NW, and you will arrive at Blandford Nature Center located at 1715 Hillburn Ave NW. The total walking distance is approximately 1.5 miles and should take around 30-40 minutes.
Public Transit
From East Hills, walk to the nearest bus stop on Wealthy Street SE. Take the GR Transit Route 6 bus heading northwest towards the downtown area. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the stop at Franklin Street NW and Hillburn Avenue NW. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk straight down Hillburn Avenue NW to reach Blandford Nature Center. Please note that a one-way fare for the bus is around $1.75. Be sure to check the GR Transit schedule for the most accurate times.
