Getting There

• Car

  From Harbor Springs, head south on State Rd/US-31. Continue on US-31 for about 15 minutes until you reach Petoskey. Take the exit toward Petoskey/MI-119. Merge onto MI-119 and follow it until it intersects with E Lake St. Turn right onto E Lake St and then turn left onto Ione St. The Bear River Valley Recreation Area will be on your left at 302 Ione St, Petoskey, MI 49770.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, check with the local bus service for routes from Harbor Springs to Petoskey. Typically, you would take a bus heading towards Petoskey and get off at the nearest stop to Ione St. From there, it is a short walk to the Bear River Valley Recreation Area located at 302 Ione St, Petoskey, MI 49770.
