From downtown Holland, head to the nearest bus stop for the Interurban Transit Authority (ITA) Route 6. Board the bus heading towards Grand Rapids. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Disembark at the stop closest to the Grand Rapids Children's Museum, which is located at 11 Sheldon Ave NE. From the bus stop, walk north on Sheldon Ave for about 5 minutes to reach the museum.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Holland. Start by heading north on River Ave until you reach 16th St. Turn left on 16th St and continue until you reach US-31. Use the bike lanes along the highway to enter Grand Rapids. Once in Grand Rapids, follow signs for downtown and continue to Sheldon Ave NE. The Grand Rapids Children's Museum will be on your left at 11 Sheldon Ave NE.

Walking
If you are up for a long walk, start at the center of Holland and head east on 8th St until you reach the intersection with US-31. Cross the highway and continue straight onto West 16th St. Follow this road as it leads you toward Grand Rapids. It will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to walk the approximately 10 miles to the museum. Once you arrive in downtown Grand Rapids, turn onto Sheldon Ave NE and the museum will be located at 11 Sheldon Ave NE.
