  • Walking

    Start at the Holland Community Center located at 250 S. River Ave. Walk south on River Ave towards 8th St. Turn right on 8th St and continue west for about 0.5 miles until you reach Washington Ave. Turn left on Washington Ave and walk south for about 0.4 miles until you reach 32nd St. Turn right on 32nd St and continue walking west until you reach 66th St. Turn left on 66th St, and after about 0.2 miles, you will find Sanctuary Woods Preserve on your right, at 4750 66th St. The preserve is marked with signs and has an entrance.

  • Biking

    If you have a bike, start at the Holland Harbor Lighthouse at the Lake Michigan shore. Head east on Lake Shore Dr, then turn left onto Ottawa Beach Rd. Continue on Ottawa Beach Rd until you reach 32nd St, then turn right. Follow 32nd St east until you reach 66th St, then turn left. Sanctuary Woods Preserve will be on your right at 4750 66th St. This route is approximately 4 miles and offers beautiful views along the way.
