If you are traveling by car, start by determining your current location in Lower Peninsula, Michigan. For example, if you are in Detroit, take I-75 N towards Flint. Merge onto I-69 E toward Port Huron. After about 80 miles, take the exit for I-75 N toward Sault Ste. Marie. Continue on I-75 N for about 80 miles, then take exit 285 for US-23 N toward Oscoda. Follow US-23 N for approximately 50 miles until you reach the town of Presque Isle. As you approach the town, turn onto E Grand Lake Rd, and follow it to 4500 E Grand Lake Rd, where the New Presque Isle Lighthouse is located. There is free parking available on-site.
