Car
From any location in Lower Peninsula, head towards US-2. If you're coming from the south, you can take I-75 North and then switch to US-2 West. Continue on US-2 until you reach the town of Rapid River. Once in Rapid River, turn onto County 513 T Rd. Follow this road until you reach the Peninsula Point Lighthouse located at 3722 County 513 T Rd, Rapid River, MI 49878. There is no admission fee for visiting the lighthouse.
Public Transportation + Hiking
If you are using public transportation, take a Greyhound bus or other local transport to Escanaba, MI. From Escanaba, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a rideshare service to take you to Rapid River (approximately 20 miles away). Once in Rapid River, you can follow County 513 T Rd to reach Peninsula Point Lighthouse. Please note that this portion may require walking or hiking depending on your drop-off point, as public transport does not go all the way to the lighthouse.
