To reach Silver Lake State Park by car, start by getting on US-31 N from any location in the Lower Peninsula. If you are coming from the south, you can take I-96 or US-31 towards Muskegon. Once on US-31 N, continue driving for about 40 miles. Take the exit toward MI-20 W and merge onto MI-20 W. Follow MI-20 W for about 10 miles until you reach Mears. In Mears, turn right onto W State Park Rd. Continue straight for about 2 miles, and you will arrive at Silver Lake State Park, located at 9679 W State Park Rd, Mears, MI 49436. Note that there is a vehicle entry fee of $10 for Michigan residents and $15 for non-residents.
