    If you are starting from the main ferry docks, walk east along the main street (Huron Avenue) for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants. Continue until you reach the intersection with Fort Street. Turn left onto Fort Street and follow it uphill. Fort Mackinac will be on your right after another 0.2 miles.

    Biking

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the rental shops near the ferry docks. Ride east on Huron Avenue for about 0.5 miles and then turn left onto Fort Street. Continue up the hill for about 0.2 miles until you see Fort Mackinac on your right. Be sure to watch for pedestrians and enjoy the scenic views along the way.
