Ferry
To get to Colonial Michilimackinac from Mackinac Island, start by heading to the Mackinac Island Ferry Terminal. You can find this terminal near the center of the island, close to the Grand Hotel. Board either the Shepler's Ferry or Star Line Ferry, which both operate regular services to Mackinaw City. The ferry ride takes approximately 15-20 minutes and provides beautiful views of the Straits of Mackinac. Once you arrive at the Mackinaw City Ferry Terminal, disembark and proceed to the next step.

After you disembark at the Mackinaw City Ferry Terminal, you will want to exit the terminal and head north on Huron Avenue. Colonial Michilimackinac is located at 800 N Huron Ave, just a short walk from the ferry terminal. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles (approximately 10-15 minutes) along Huron Avenue until you reach your destination on the right side of the street. Look for the distinctive colonial-style buildings that make up the historical site.
