To reach Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse from Mackinac Island, begin by taking a ferry from Mackinac Island to Mackinaw City. Several ferry companies operate this route, including Shepler's Ferry and Star Line. The ferry ride usually takes about 20-30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Mackinaw City dock, you will be in close proximity to your destination.

After disembarking from the ferry in Mackinaw City, exit the dock area and head north on Huron Avenue (M-23). The lighthouse is approximately 1 mile away. You will walk along Huron Avenue, passing by various shops and restaurants. Continue straight until you see the Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse on your left, located at 526 N Huron Ave. The walk should take about 20-25 minutes.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle at one of the rental shops on Mackinac Island before you take the ferry to Mackinaw City. Once you arrive at Mackinaw City, hop on your bicycle and ride north on Huron Avenue (M-23). The lighthouse is about 1 mile away.
