Car
If you are driving from anywhere in Mid-Michigan, take US-10 N to exit 118 for M-20 W toward Midland. Merge onto M-20 W and continue for about 9 miles. Turn left onto Golfside Dr, and Chippewassee Park will be on your right at 101 Golfside Dr, Midland, MI 48640. There is no parking fee at the park.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, check the local bus schedules for the Midland Area Transportation Authority (MATA). You can take the bus to the nearest stop on M-20 and then walk about 0.5 miles south on Golfside Dr to reach Chippewassee Park. Bus fares may vary, so check the MATA website for current rates.
Biking
If you prefer biking, Midland has several bike paths. You can ride along the Pere Marquette Rail Trail, which connects to local roads leading to Chippewassee Park. Ensure your bike is in good condition and wear a helmet. There are bike racks available at the park.
Walking
If you are staying close to the park or in downtown Midland, you can walk. From downtown, head northwest on W Main St, then turn left onto S Saginaw Rd, continue until you reach M-20. Cross M-20 and continue on Golfside Dr for about 0.5 miles to reach the park. This walk is approximately 1.5 miles and takes about 30 minutes.
