Getting There

Car
If you are driving, head towards Detroit from your location in Mid-Michigan. The Michigan Science Center is located at 5020 John R St, Detroit, MI 48202. Take I-75 S toward Detroit. Depending on your starting point, you may need to take I-69 S or US-127 S to connect to I-75 S. Once on I-75 S, follow the signs for Exit 53A toward Mack Ave. Keep left at the fork and merge onto Mack Ave. Continue straight, then turn left onto John R St. The Michigan Science Center will be on your right. Parking is available on-site for a fee, so be prepared for potential parking costs.

Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can take a Greyhound or Megabus from Mid-Michigan to Detroit. Once in Detroit, use the Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) bus service. Take the #53 or #16 bus to get to the Cultural Center area. The nearest bus stop to the Science Center is at the corner of John R St and Warren Ave. Walk south on John R St for about 5 minutes to reach the center. Be sure to check the DDOT website for bus schedules and fares as they may vary.
