Walking
From the center of Mount Pleasant, start at the intersection of E Broadway St and S Mission St. Head west on E Broadway St for about 0.5 miles until you reach S Isabella Rd. Turn right onto S Isabella Rd and continue walking for approximately 1 mile. As you reach the intersection with W Remus Rd, turn left. Continue on W Remus Rd for about 1.5 miles. You will see Deerfield Nature Park on your right at 2425 W Remus Rd. The park entrance is marked, and you can easily walk in to enjoy the nature trails.
Biking
Start your bike ride from the Chippewa River Waterfront Park located in Mount Pleasant. Head north on the bike path along the Chippewa River. After about 1 mile, you will see a sign directing you to S Isabella Rd. Follow the path leading to S Isabella Rd and turn left. Continue on S Isabella Rd for roughly 1 mile until you reach W Remus Rd. Turn left onto W Remus Rd and bike for an additional 1.5 miles. Deerfield Nature Park will be on your right at 2425 W Remus Rd.
Public Transit
Take the Isabella County Transit bus from the nearest bus stop in downtown Mount Pleasant. Look for the bus heading towards the north side of Mount Pleasant. Request to be dropped off at the intersection of S Isabella Rd and W Remus Rd. From there, it is a short 0.3-mile walk west along W Remus Rd to reach Deerfield Nature Park at 2425 W Remus Rd. The park entrance is well marked.
