    From downtown Muskegon, take the Muskegon Area Transit System (MATS) bus route 4 towards Whitehall. Make sure to check the schedule for the latest departure times. You will ride the bus until you reach the stop at Whitehall Plaza. This journey typically takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Whitehall Plaza, disembark and walk north on N. Mears Ave. until you reach the intersection with Murray Rd.

    At the intersection of N. Mears Ave. and Murray Rd., turn right onto Murray Rd. Continue walking along Murray Rd. for approximately 1.5 miles. The White River Light Station will be on your left side at 6199 Murray Rd. Make sure to keep an eye out for the lighthouse as you approach.
