If you are in downtown Muskegon, start at the intersection of Western Avenue and Clay Avenue. Head west on Clay Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles. You will pass by several local shops and restaurants. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will reach the Muskegon Museum of History & Science located at 430 W Clay Ave, Muskegon, MI 49440. The museum will be on your left.

To take public transit, find the nearest bus stop serving the Muskegon Area Transit System (MATS). Board the bus that heads towards the Lakeshore Museum Center. Once you arrive at the stop nearest to the museum (Clay Avenue at 4th Street), you will need to walk a short distance west on Clay Avenue for about 5 minutes until you reach the museum at 430 W Clay Ave.
