Getting There

Car

If you're driving from the main visitor center of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, head northwest on M-22 N towards Empire. Continue on M-22 for about 18 miles until you reach the junction with M-115. Turn left onto M-115 and follow it for about 5 miles. Turn right onto Green Point Road. Continue straight for about 2 miles until you reach your destination at 1198 Green Point Rd, Frankfort, MI 49635. Parking is available near the entrance.
Public Transportation

While public transportation options are limited in this area, you can take the Benzie Bus, which operates in the Benzie County region. Board the bus heading towards Frankfort from the nearest stop at the Sleeping Bear Dunes Visitor Center. Make sure to check the schedule in advance, as service may not be frequent. Once you arrive in Frankfort, you will need to either walk or take a taxi to Green Point Dunes, which is approximately a 3-mile walk. Follow Main Street to the west and turn onto Green Point Road.
