If you are in downtown Traverse City, catch the Bayline bus at the nearest stop. The bus will take you north on US-31. You will need to get off at the stop near the Crystal Lake Township Park. From there, it's approximately a 10-minute walk to Pyramid Point. Head northwest on Crystal Lake Road, then turn left onto M-22. Continue walking until you see the entrance to the Pyramid Point Trailhead on your right.

Rent a bike from one of the local shops in Traverse City. Start your journey from downtown and head north on East Grandview Parkway. Follow the bike path along the bay until you reach the intersection with M-22. Turn left onto M-22 and continue for about 5 miles. Watch for signs for the Pyramid Point Trailhead on your right, where you can park your bike and start your hike.

If you're near the Traverse City State Park, start by walking north on US-31. Continue along the road for about 3 miles until you reach the intersection with M-22. Cross M-22 carefully and follow the signs for Pyramid Point Trailhead. This route will take you through some beautiful natural scenery, but be prepared for a good walk—it's about 4 miles from the State Park.
