From any point within Pere Marquette State Forest, head towards M-37. If you are near the main entrance, take the road leading to M-37 and turn north. Continue on M-37 for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction with Dilling Road. Turn left onto Dilling Road and follow it for about 2 miles. Tippy Dam Recreation Area will be on your right at 1500 Dilling Rd, Brethren, MI 49619. There is no entry fee for the recreation area.
