    If you're starting from downtown Petoskey, head east on E Mitchell St towards the Bear River. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Ione St. Turn left onto Ione St. Follow Ione St for a few blocks until you reach 302 Ione St, where the Bear River Valley Recreation Area is located. The entrance to the park will be on your left.

    From downtown Petoskey, you can take your bike along E Mitchell St heading east. After passing the library, continue straight until you reach Ione St. Turn left onto Ione St and bike for a few blocks. The Bear River Valley Recreation Area will be on your left at 302 Ione St. There are bike racks available at the entrance.

If a bus service is available, locate the nearest bus stop and board the bus heading towards Ione St. Please ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach the stop closest to 302 Ione St. Once you get off, walk a short distance to the entrance of Bear River Valley Recreation Area, which will be on your left.
