Start at downtown Petoskey, specifically at the intersection of E Lake St and Howard St. Head northwest on E Lake St towards the waterfront. Continue walking until you reach the waterfront park area. From there, follow the waterfront path along Little Traverse Bay, enjoying the scenic views. After about 0.5 miles, keep an eye out for a trail that leads into the woods on your right. This path will take you towards the Waterfall Area. Follow this trail for about 0.6 miles until you reach the Waterfall Area, located at 800 Bay View Rd.

Rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in downtown Petoskey. Begin your ride on E Lake St heading northwest. After about 0.5 miles, you will reach the waterfront bike path. Continue along the path, which will eventually lead you to a trail entrance that goes into the woods on your right after 0.5 miles. Follow this trail for approximately 0.6 miles, and you will arrive at the Waterfall Area, located at 800 Bay View Rd.
Public Transportation
Check the local bus schedule for the Petoskey area. Take the bus towards Bay View, getting off at the closest stop to Bay View Rd. From the bus stop, walk south on Bay View Rd for about 0.3 miles until you see signs for the Waterfall Area. Continue walking on Bay View Rd until you reach the entrance to the Waterfall Area at 800 Bay View Rd.
