To reach Sable Falls by car, start from Munising, Michigan. Head east on M-28 for approximately 21 miles until you reach the intersection with H-58. Then, turn right onto H-58 and continue for about 15 miles. Look for Sable Falls Trail on your left after passing the Sable Falls parking area, marked with a sign. The parking lot is located directly at the trailhead.

If you're using public transportation, take the Greyhound bus to Munising. From Munising, you will need to use a taxi or rideshare service to get to Sable Falls, as there are no direct public transit routes. The taxi ride will be approximately 30 minutes and will cover around 16 miles. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

Once you arrive at the Sable Falls parking area, you will need to hike approximately 0.3 miles down the trail to reach the falls. The trail is well-marked and descends moderately, but be sure to wear appropriate footwear, as the path can be uneven and may be muddy in spots. After enjoying the beautiful views of the falls, you will return the same way to the parking area.
