From the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, head southeast on S Boundary Rd toward M-64. Continue on S Boundary Rd for approximately 4 miles, then turn left onto M-64 E. Follow M-64 for about 12 miles until you reach the town of Ontonagon. As you enter Ontonagon, stay on M-64 which turns into River St. Continue on River St for about 1 mile. The Ontonagon County Historical Society will be on your left at 422 River St, Ontonagon, MI 49953.
