From the center of Saugatuck at the intersection of Butler St and Lake St, head east on Butler St. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the marker located on your right side, near the intersection with the Kalamazoo River. The historical marker is situated near the scenic waterfront area, making it a pleasant walk with views along the way.

If you have a bicycle, start from the Saugatuck City Hall on Culver St. Head south to Butler St and turn left. Continue on Butler St for approximately 1 mile, and you'll find the Singapore, Michigan Historical Marker on your right, close to the waterfront. The ride is mostly flat and offers great views of the area.
