    From any location in The Thumb, make your way to M-25, which is the main highway running along the Lake Huron shoreline. If you are in Port Huron, take I-69 to get to M-25. If you are in the northern part of The Thumb, like Caseville, head south on M-25 until you reach Port Austin. Once in Port Austin, turn onto Loosemore Rd. The Huron County Nature Center is located at 3336 Loosemore Rd, Port Austin, MI 48467. Follow the road until you reach the entrance of the nature center.
