Public Bus
Start your journey by boarding the Bay Area Transportation Authority (BATA) bus at any of the local bus stops in Traverse City. You can catch the bus at the Traverse City Central Station located at 1715 E Front St. Make sure to check the current bus schedule for routes heading towards the Holiday Hills area. Depending on the bus route, you may need to transfer buses to reach the nearest stop to Mt. Holiday. The closest bus stop is located on Holiday Rd. From there, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Mt. Holiday.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many rental shops in downtown Traverse City. Head west on E Front St towards Division St and then take a right onto Division St. Continue north until you reach the intersection with 14th St. Turn left onto 14th St, which will eventually lead you to Holiday Rd. Continue on Holiday Rd until you see signs for Mt. Holiday. The route is approximately 4 miles and mostly flat, making it a pleasant ride.

For those who enjoy walking, you can start from downtown Traverse City. Head west on E Front St until you reach Division St and turn right. Continue north on Division St until you connect with 14th St, then turn left. Walk along 14th St until it curves to become Holiday Rd. Follow Holiday Rd for about 2 miles until you reach Mt. Holiday, located at 3100 Holiday Rd. This route is approximately 2 miles long and will take about 40-50 minutes to walk.
