Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Kolonia, head east on the main road (Pohnpei Road) towards the Madolenihmw region. Continue straight for about 3 kilometers until you reach the junction at the entrance of Madolenihmw. At the junction, turn left onto the road marked for Madolenihmw. Follow this road for another 5 kilometers, enjoying the scenery along the way. You will pass several local homes and small shops. As you approach the area, look for signs indicating Pahn Sile Waterfall. The waterfall is located a short distance off the main road, and you may need to walk a small path through the forest to reach it.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kolonia. Start your journey heading east on Pohnpei Road. After about 3 kilometers, take the left turn at the junction towards Madolenihmw. This stretch is approximately 5 kilometers long. As you cycle, keep an eye out for signs for Pahn Sile Waterfall. Once you reach the last part of the journey, park your bicycle at the designated area and walk the remaining distance along the path that leads to the waterfall.

• Public Transport

  Take a local bus or shared taxi from Kolonia heading towards Madolenihmw. Make sure to inform the driver that you need to stop near Pahn Sile Waterfall. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes. Once you get off at the nearest point, you may need to walk an additional 1-2 kilometers along the path leading to the waterfall, so wear comfortable shoes. Ask locals for directions if necessary, as they will be familiar with the area.
