Getting There

Walking
From the center of Kolonia, head towards the main road (Nukuhs Road). Continue walking north until you reach the intersection with Pohnpei State Highway. Cross the highway carefully and continue straight on the road that leads to Sokehs. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left fork to stay on the main road towards Sokehs. Keep walking for another 2 kilometers until you see signs for Sokehs Rock. The entrance should be on your right, leading up to the base of the rock.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the shops in Kolonia. Start by heading north on Nukuhs Road towards Pohnpei State Highway. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto the highway. You will cycle for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach a fork in the road. Stay on the left fork which will lead you towards Sokehs. Continue cycling for another 2 kilometers. Look out for the signs indicating Sokehs Rock, where you will find the entrance to the trail leading up the rock.

Take a local bus or collective taxi from Kolonia to Sokehs. Head to the bus stop located near the town center. Buses to Sokehs run regularly. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you want to go to Sokehs Rock. The journey will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to Sokehs Rock, which is usually marked. From the bus stop, it will be a short walk to the entrance of Sokehs Rock.
