Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Kolonia, the capital of Pohnpei. Head east on the main road (Route 1) towards the municipality of Kitti. Continue on this road for approximately 10 miles until you reach the junction at Pwel Weita. Turn left onto the road leading into Pwel Weita. Follow this road for about 3 miles until you see a sign for Nan Emp Waterfall. There is parking available nearby. Please note that a small fee may be required for parking.
Public Transportation
To reach Nan Emp Waterfall via public transportation, take a bus from Kolonia to Kitti. Buses can be found at various points in Kolonia, and the fare is typically around $2. Inform the driver that you are going to Pwel Weita. Once you arrive in Pwel Weita, you may need to walk about 1 mile to reach the entrance of Nan Emp Waterfall. Be sure to ask locals for directions or look for signs along the way.
Walking
If you are already in Pwel Weita and prefer to walk to Nan Emp Waterfall, head towards the main road and follow the signs directing you to the waterfall. The walk is approximately 1 mile and should take about 20-30 minutes. The path may be uneven in some places, so wear sturdy shoes. It's advisable to carry water and snacks for the hike.
