Follow the trailhead signs along the path, which will lead you directly to the falls.

Begin your journey at the Ely City Park. Head east on the paved bike path that follows the shoreline of Shagawa Lake. Continue on the bike path until you reach the intersection with Fernberg Road. Turn left onto Fernberg Road and bike for approximately 1.5 miles. The Kawishiwi Falls Trail will be on your left; look for the sign marking the trail entrance.
Public Transportation

From the Ely Public Library, walk to the nearest bus stop on Sheridan Street. Take the bus that heads towards the Fernberg Road area. Disembark at the closest stop to the Kawishiwi Falls Trail, which is approximately 1 mile away. After getting off the bus, walk along Fernberg Road, and you will see the trail entrance on your right.
