    Getting There

    Walking

    Start at the center of Grand Marais, specifically at the Grand Marais Recreation Park. From there, head northeast on Minnesota Avenue towards 1st Avenue East. Continue on Minnesota Avenue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Highway 61. Turn left (north) onto Highway 61 and walk along the sidewalk. After about 3 miles, you will see a sign for Lutsen Mountains on your right. Continue walking until you reach the entrance at 467 Ski Hill Rd, Lutsen, MN 55612.

    Biking

    If you have a bike, you can start from the Grand Marais Bike Trail located at the west end of town. Follow the bike trail heading north, which will connect to the Arrowhead Trail. Continue on the Arrowhead Trail for about 3.5 miles, heading towards Lutsen. The trail will lead you directly to the entrance of Lutsen Mountains at 467 Ski Hill Rd, Lutsen, MN 55612.

    Public Transit (Bus)

    Check the Arrowhead Transit schedule for a bus route from Grand Marais to Lutsen. Buses typically depart from the Grand Marais City Hall located at 30 N Broadway Ave. Make sure to catch the bus heading towards Lutsen and get off at the designated stop near Lutsen Mountains.
