Walking
From the center of Grand Marais, head west on Highway 61. Continue walking along the highway for approximately 0.5 miles. You will see North House Folk School on your left at 500 W Hwy 61. The building is easily identifiable, and there is a sign out front. Be cautious as you walk along the highway, as there may be traffic.

If you have access to a bike, start from the Grand Marais Recreation Area. Head southwest on 1st Ave W, then turn left onto Hwy 61. Continue biking along the highway for about 1 mile. North House Folk School will be on your left at 500 W Hwy 61. Make sure to follow the bike lane where available and wear a helmet for safety.
