Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from any location within Lutsen Mountains, start by heading west on MN-61 N. Continue on MN-61 for about 5 miles until you reach the junction with Caribou Trail (County Road 4). Turn left onto Caribou Trail and follow it for approximately 2 miles. Look for the Oberg Mountain Trail Center on your right at the address J6H8+39, Lutsen, MN 55615. There is no parking fee at the trail center, but be sure to park in designated areas.

• Public Transportation

  If you are using public transportation, check for local bus services that operate in the area. You can take the Arrowhead Transit service from various points in the region. Plan your trip to drop off at the nearest stop to the Oberg Mountain Trail Center. Once you disembark, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile along Caribou Trail to reach the center.
